Jay Pfeiffer
Jay Pfeiffer founded Pfeiffer High in 1982. Over the years he has counseled dozens of public companies listed on Nasdaq, the NYSE and the AMEX. His diverse experience ranges from designing and implementing proactive investor relations programs to helping companies identify sources of private and public capital. In the process, he has advised client companies on fund-raising strategies, strategic communications, proxy solicitations, shareholder lawsuits, and a host of routine and complex disclosure issues.

Pfeiffer has authored investment-related articles for a variety of publications and has been a speaker and/or participant in IPO conferences and industry roundtables covering subjects such as capital formation, Regulation FD, valuation, orphan companies, crisis communications and integrated corporate communications. In addition, in his capacity as an advisor and/or a board member, he has helped direct emerging companies through all aspects of the IPO process.

His prior experience as a business journalist and a Series 7 registered stockbroker gave him the ideal background to address matters of communications with the investment community and media. He is a former business and financial writer for the Scripps Howard-owned Rocky Mountain News, Colorado's largest daily newspaper. He also served as a reporter, columnist and editor with newspapers in the Gannett and Cox systems. His brokerage experience includes service as a stock broker with two NYSE member firms, including Piper Jaffray. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University. jay@pfeifferhigh.com

Geoff High
Geoff High has broad experience in investor relations and public relations and blends this experience to serve a diverse range of clients. High joined Pfeiffer High in 1993 following several years with two of Colorado’s leading public relations firms: William Kostka & Associates and Servoss Public Relations. His father, Ned High, owns and operates one of Denver’s oldest public relations practices, Ned High Public Relations.

High has worked with clients in an array of industries, including power technology, telecommunications, digital mapping, software, b2b e-commerce, sporting goods, apparel, mining and oil and gas. He specializes in media relations, shareholder relations and internal communications, and has been a featured speaker on issues related to combating Internet-based stock fraud.

Prior to joining Pfeiffe rHigh in 1993, High was an independent business and financial writer. A Colorado native, he is a graduate of Benedictine College in Kansas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
